This is a LO I did of the last picture I took of my father. This was Father's Day 2007. He was already so sick and I always wonder if he knew. It is hard to see but there is a hidden journaling page under the right side of the pic. Inside it says:

Did You Know?

How much I loved you?
That I was always so proud to be your daughter?
That I loved that you still called me Petunia, and that you didn't mind that I still called you Daddy?
Did you know when I took this picture how sick you already were?
That you wouldn't make it until Christmas?

Did you know....how much you would be missed?

On the back is a poem I wrote for my dad's memorial:

When I was just a child you taught me right from wrong,
You taught me when to stay and fight, and when to just move on,

You taught me to be careful, and to keep a watchful eye,
And you taught me no one would think me weak if I let them see me cry...

When I was just a teenager you taught me to be wise,
To never stop learning, and to keep an open mind,

You taught me the importance of family, faith, and friends,
To always follow my own heart, and not just follow trends...

When I became an adult, you taught me to explore,
To never forget my roots, but to spread my wings and soar,

You taught me to go new places, try new things, and venture on my own,
But never to forget the places and the people that always welcome me back home.

This was probably the most difficult LO I have ever done!

TFL!
