So our son runs in all excited about this woodpecker he had found. He wanted a picture, as did we! So, my husband, son, & I softly went out the door. I stood against the car with my son at my side and our Cat on the other side... My husband stood at the door - taking another picture of the three of us looking up into the tree at this woodpecker. It was really filling up! Every so often it would pull the bark off and drop it not far from our feet. I had filled our digital card, went inside to download and come back out to get another round of the bird to find the cat, yes she was already crawling up the tree. When she saw me she stopped, looked at me, then sat in the fork of the tree.
