I have just about all your LO's in my Favorites...LOVE your style. are there any tutorials anywhere in converting diecuts so you can cut them out in Silhouette or step by step in how to do it??
I like the striking green and the bright blues with the white. I like the simple - unmatted photo with the lacey pp as you cut it. And of course the flourishes and with the paint drop additions.
Great LO! What a nice tribute to your dogs. And all the flourishes and papers are fablous! Here I go again...stealing your techniques...I'm going to have to check out Corel Draw :-D
I did this LO for a "Flourish" Challenge on the My Creative Scrapbook website. It is an older picture of me and our first 2 dogs. Hannah, the yellow lab, was given to us as a puppy. Buster, the chocolate lab we bought from a breeder. They are both gone now, but I have the best memories of these two. Hannah was the happiest dog on the planet and everyone used to tell me she could smile. Buster was as true blue as they come, my big protector dog and friend. I will always have a special place in my heart for them.
With this LO I had fun creating "flourishes" for the challenge. The white paper flourishes I created in Corel Draw, just using my mouse to draw the shape. I then exported the image as a .jpeg and let my Silhouette cut it out. The flourishes are then further embellished with 3D paint dots which is the technique Gabriellep has on her Barefoot Sandles LO. My title is the VivaldiD font. Both the title and the small butterflies I cut out on the Silhouette too!
