I did this lo in tribute to the infamous punk couple of the 70's, and I thought the picture of Adam and I reflected the moment in the picture of Sid and Nancy.
If you want some background on the story and have time I wrote a little on the subject...
Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols (a 70's UK punk band) has been my idol for about 7 years and a big part of my DH and I meeting, actually! (Now you know why my screen name is ChickVicious lol). We were both 'oldschool' punk at the time.
This is a famous image of he and his girlfriend, Nancy. It's debated that he killed her in New York in 1979 then killed himself, facts have been arising over the years that this is probably not true...
The quote "And I Don't Want to Live this Life" was written by Sid in a letter to Nancy's mother after her death and was used as a book title written by the mother about Nancy. I crossed out the Don't and put 'SO' to reflect my wishes for a long happy life with Adam.
