These HK carts are CUTE! They bring me back to third grade when I would stand in the HK store at the mall and wish I could take everything home with me. As soon as I got the carts, I had to deal with business first. Gwen needed something to share at school for her first day of being Superstar (something done for every kid in class throughout the school year), so instead of her bringing all of her toys to share, one by one, each day of the week, I made her an album, so that she could show her favorite toys. This was a really quick and easy album to put together. The album itself is HK1 at 5-inches, using the shadow (black cardstock) as the base for the album and then building up the cover, using each relative feature, and using the shadow for each page of the album. I also used the bookplate10 from Fab Finds at 1-inch and the framed scalloped circle from Mini Mono at 4-3/4-inches. I also used the basic black Cricut pen to outline the bookplates and used the Multicut feature for the chipboard pages. Here are a few pages from the book that she shared today at school. The images/shapes from these HK carts are pretty easy to put together, which I like, and they are, by far, my favorite character cartridges because they are EASY-PEASY.
