Great shot! While I don't want to ski, I so want to go to a ski lodge, sit by the fire, sip coffee or hot cocoa and watch the snow and skiers!

JFF ~ Mt Alyeska Ski Run

Alyeska Resort is a very popular place for skiing, snowboarding and many other winter (and summer) activities. This photo shows a portion of the nighttime ski run. The resort is located in a small community named Girdwood, which is located about 40 miles south of Anchorage. Rog and I stopped in Girdwood for dinner on the way home from Anchor Point and drove right by this on our way to the restaurant. I was surprised it came out as clearly as it did, considering it was a fully-extended lens and hand-held!
