Close up - It's beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

This is a close up of the journalling in the Christmas bauble. I used a circle punch on some scrap pps and printed the journalling in Microsoft Publisher and stuck it on to the circles. I used elastic thread to make the cord. TFL!

Journalling reads: This is my Christmas tree this year and what a palava it has been. We started on Friday night but when we opened the new tree we soon realised it was one of those where you have to slot in each and every branch.

On Saturday we began the tree building process and finished about an hour later. In the afternoon we went shopping for the new decorations, choosing dark burgundy and antique gold as our colours.

At home I started decorating the tree only to get half way and had to stop … I forgot to put the lights on, but I was too tired so I left it until Sunday.

On Sunday, Scott brought all the lights down from the attic and lo and behold, 2 sets of lights wouldn't work. The tree was finally finished on Monday night after going out to buy a new set of lights.

4 days to put up a Christmas tree … but it was worth it!
