Completely Crazy

I guess I was spoiled working at the hospital here - I knew EXACTLY what to order... and who to get it from! : ) Our place made a KILLER blueberry pancake! It wouldn't fit on the plate - hung over by and inch all the way around!

oooh I remember that after my c-sections starving and they won't let you have any real food... chicken broth never tasted so good as after a surgery... any other time it's impossible to even swallow!

Oh my! There is a hospital in Wasilla that serves restaurant-quality meals to patients, staff and visitors alike -- too bad your hospital doesn't do the same! Hope you were able to satisfy your hunger once you got home :) Clever take on the challenge - TFS! OH - and good girl for taking your camera to the hospital with you ;)

Hospital food usually isn't that great, but I'm sure the eggs were great after 2 days of clear liquids.

Oh I remember those days, only had surgery ONCE and I will never forget the food problems. JELLO, I still can't eat it. I actually used the jello to get a nurse to help me, NO ONE would come when I turned on my light, no one came when I called for help, so I picked up my Jello and tossed it out the door and nearly hit a nurse. They FINALLY came in and asked why I was making trouble, I told them I needed to go to the bathroom and I couldn't get up. The nurse yelled at me and told to just to GET UP! I said there is something on my legs and she said NO THERE ISN'T! She finally looked and guess what, there were weighted wrappings on my legs. She didn't apologize, just took them off and said NOW GET UP AND GO " and left me there. I am very glad I don't live in that state and use that hospital any more.
