Wonderful way to document a great day in your scrapbooking life! Your color scheme looks great together-you took a creative leap (inspired by that milk carton-ha!) and it really paid off!
WOW, HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR CRICUT, IT IS AWESOME, LOVE THE LAYOUT , NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF IT, AND YOUR NOT ANY CRAZER THAN THE REST OF US, . LOVE IT! HUGS
Congrats on your cricut, you will love it. Great way to remember your story. I have the 6" cricut and working my way to getting the expression. Too many, many more beautiful pages!!
that's awesome that you got such a deal!!! love how u printed the journaling on vellum & of course all the neat embellies u made w/your new bug;) Congrats!!!!!
That was a great deal - I told one of my friends about that deal and she bought one the same day! I still use my Cricut, even though I also have a fantastic klic-n-kut.
This is a great lo and congrats! Way too early for me but I love the idea of you scrapping this. What a great memory and I love the little cricket in the corner!
Such a cute page & I love that color combo, too! I've never done the early Black Friday shopping thing. As much as I LOVE to shop... I love to sleep more! :-)
I am so jealous. I've wanted a cricut for so long, but they are around $600 here, and I just can't justify that much. I can't believe you got up so early to go shopping, and like a true scrapper you photographed it. Too funny.
Oh My Gosh... I hope it wasn't the same Walmart where that young man got trampled... you couldn't PAY me to go out shopping on that day..... LOL ..Glad you survived.. I know you are gonna LOVE the BUG!!..Grrrrrreat Page !! :P
Love this color scheme.. That cricket die cut is totally darlin!! I am glad you got one!! I love how you always scrap everyday events. You always totally inspire me!!
Wow you got a great deal! I love my cricut!! You are going to have so much fun with it! I would have taken a pic of Wal-Mart to!! LOL Great LO!!! Love the black scroll.
I didn't know HOW you got your Cricut......this is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always love your "every day" pages and not the typical photo...that's why I call you "Miss Creativity (or Creative??....), love it!!!!
Im so glad you got your cricut! Ive had mine for almost a year and barely used it yet :( You got a deal though, what you paid for yours, I paid for the small one plus a cart. Great layout, lovin the green & pink!
Oh was a fun thing to do - to record in a lo your trip to Wal Mart so early in the morning. Yes, we've heard of those amazing bargains you can get on a Black Friday; just wish I'd been in America then for I'd surely have been in the queue! Hope you had a great bargain. And the lo itself? Beautiful!
Ha,ha!! ~ this is such a great LO!! love the design & color combo:) But the funniest thing is that it's like a LO of "bringing home baby"!!! I think all of us scrappers love our Cricuts that way!!
oh this is just too cute. Great on how you put it together. I like the strips of journaling angled up that way. It's way cute. These colours are nice as well together. Great LO.
OH OH OH!!! Where did you get that pink fleur de lis paper...YummY!!! LOL This is tooo cute!! I love your idea for it. The colors are awesome and I love that transparency!! Great job Shawn.
I don't have a clue as to what "Black Friday" is, but I imagine it has something to do with huge sales/discounts and ungodly opening hours ... did anyone see you take that picture of Walmart at almost 5 am LOL???? Anyway, congratulations, I hope to have a topic like this to scrap one day ... Beautiful LO, I love the colour combination.
Awesome! Love the embellishments and the colors really capture the eye! At 4:45 am you deserve an awesome deal on it! I love the Cricut but I too want this new version. What a great way to break it in!
Nuts in a good way! I don't see anything wrong with waiting at Walmart for a Cricut. Waiting ANYWHERE for a Cricut, as a matter of fact, is a good thing. Don't ya love it?!?! I love mine! Great LO! Ode to Cricut...how DID we live without it?!
I have been lovin' green, black & white lately! This time, I used touches of pink with it. Color scheme was inspired by our milk carton! LOL
I made this LO to document my 5 a.m. trek on Black Friday to get my Cricut! Hard to see, but I inked the edges of the white and pink cs. I printed the brief journaling on green vellum, and ....ta da!!! I used my new Cricut to make the large black scroll, the green cricket, the green swag and mini floral black branch under the flower, as well as the word 'create'. And, yes, I took the photo of Walmart at 4:45 a.m.! I'm nuts!
It was worth it...got my bug and 2 carts for $199!TFL :-)
