This layout is for the baby's book and features what is perhaps my most favorite photo of all photos I own - the two girls cuddled up together. I kept everything simple, using two heart-shaped paperclips intertwined with thread as my embellishment.

Journaling:

Laura, you brought a very special gift to this family. While Claire's birth made us parents, your birth made Claire a sister. It's something she's wanted for a long time, a desire I believe God placed deep in her heart. When she met you that first day, it was truly love at first sight - pure, unconditional, all-encompassing love for you. She wasn't shy at all - it was as if she'd known you forever. And I believe you knew who she was immediately, too, because you calmed down the second we placed you in her arms. These pictures, taken during Claire's second visit to the hospital, show just that. You were fussy when she showed up, but as soon as she leaned over you to whisper something and nudge your cheek, you calmed down. And you stayed calm and content as long as you were with her. It was the sweetest moment. I look forward to watching you two grow up together. I know you will bring many more gifts into all our lives, but definitely in Claire's life as her sister.
