My DGS, Adam. He was such a good sport that day when we asked him to let us take some photos of him in his cowboy gear. I added the little photos to show how much he got into "riding" his imaginary horse! What a cowpoke! The horse was on a piece of patterned paper and was about 1 inch tall. I scanned it into my computer and made it about 4.5 inches tall. The cowboy hat is a paper piecing from the book 201 paper piecing patterns that I had for years. The 3-D stickers are from Creative imagination. Journaling is tucked behind the large photo and reads:

It was so much fun to watch you ride your imaginary horse! You threw your hat back with one hand and held on to the rope with the other as that “horse” took you for a ride. I wondered (as I watch you pretend that you are riding a horse) just where you learned about how to “ride.” I don’t believe you’ve ever been to a rodeo, although you have been on a horse a time or two. Maybe it’s something that little boys just instinctively “know” how to do. Not only do you ride well…but you’re a handsome cowboy too!
