the abominable snow schnauzer

This was made for the December Scrap Pack Challenge. It is some photos of my dog Bruno out in the snow. The journaling reads "Bruno hates the rain but loves the snow. He will stay out in it for hours. Who knows what he does out there"
I used the pack contents as follows....

coffee filter: I cut it to make the large white snowflake.
patterned paper: I made two smaller snowflakes. One out of each pattern.
Swatches of fabric: I made the trees out of the fabric.
Metal Ornament Hangers: I twisted them around and made photo corners for the smaller photo.
CD: I broke it into pieces and painted it white to look like icicles.
Silver disks: I put glitter on them and lined two sides of the bigger picture in them.
rolodex card: I inked the outside of it in blue and used it as a journaling block
loose rhinestones: There is one in each corner of the "the abominable box" one on each side of the "Schnauzer" box and one in each of the top corners of the journaling box.
dental floss - I used it to stitch around the edges of the word snow and I used it to attach the metal ornament hangers to the page by way of stitching also.
Strung Pearl Beads: I used them to line one of the icicles to give it a little bling.
glitter: I used the silver on the icicles, the red and gold on the silver disks, and the green on the red fabric to make it a green tree.
red velvet ribbon: I cute the word snow out of it and I used it for the tree trunks.
