A 12x12 LO of my daughter with Santa this year. Journalling reads:
Visiting Santa
On Sunday, December 4, 2005 mommy and daddy took me to visit Santa Claus and his wife. I wasn’t sure what to think when this man opened his arms and asked me to come and sit with him. I looked back at mommy to make sure it was ok; she gave me a grin and a nod of her head. With that assurance I walked towards him. Santa talked to me about all kinds of things. He even knew how much I love Dora the Explorer! After a while, I agreed to sit on his lap… --- thinking this guy can’t be too bad if he knows about Dora. We visited some more and I showed him my shoes. I think he really liked them!!
When Santa and I were done talking, I decorated cookies with Mrs. Claus and made reindeer food with the elves!
I don’t remember my 1st visit with Santa, but I will not forget this one. Santa is truly magical and part of the Christmas season.
