When Gregory Hines died in the summer of 2003, I kinda guessed we'd be doing a tribute to him in our show. My tap instructor was taught by Gregory Hines and his style of hoofer tap is the root of the style of hoofer tap we learn. Since he was such an influential figure in the world of dance, doing a tribute to him was really fitting. Plus, on a side note, I thought the costume was wicked neat!
