~GRC~ Love this color combo! We brined our turkey for the first time this year and I think that is the only way I will ever do it again, it was so moist!
Brine: 3 qts cool water 2 cups packed brown sugar 1 1/2 cup salt 3 cloves garlic - halved 2 teaspoons whole black peppercorns 4 bay leave Use a large glass, plastic or stainless steel container. Dissolve salt & sugar in water. Ad other ingredients. Submerge meat. One hour for small pieces to overnight for large pieces. Rinse under cool running water. Dry & coat with oil before smoking or roasting or grilling.
Leftover Breakfast Bake: Sauté onions in butter along with any leftover turkey or ham. When onions are translucent, Mix in stuffing. Top with shredded cheese and beaten eggs. Broil 10-20 minutes. Use other breading or meats. Use additional seasonings like dried mustard, Dijon mustard, garlic, etc.
