I agree with Sublime. If you're not sure about the background, use a light layer with minimal opacity just enough to soften it. But anyways, you are awesome with your layouts. I love it just like it is.

Oh wow Liz! This is just beautiful. I can't stop looking at the brush work. The picture, the sentiment, the romance makes me so happy for the both of you. I love this just the way it is but since you're not sure about the pp, you may try putting a layer over the pp, fill it with ivory or white and bring down the opacity to capture the look of vellum over patterned paper. But again, I think it's just gorgeous the way it is....
