Be Merry Candy Bar

Who doesn't love candy? And if you're like me, you still have gifts to get for people on your list. At this time of year most grocery and discount stores have specials on Hershey and Ghiradelli Chocolate bars, usually for about $1-2 each. These are always great to have on hand when you need a small little something quick--they make excellent co-worker gifts, stocking stuffers, or you can even add them to a larger gift in place of a gift tag.

I designed this particular bar wrapper for one of the make n takes at my Holiday Scrapbook party earlier this month.

Supplies:
Paper - Basic Grey
Cardstock - Bazzill Bling
Diecuts - "Be Merry" and Scalloped Borders (Quickutz), Scalloped Square (Spellbinders)
Rhinestone - Darice
Punches - Martha Stewart
Ribbon - May Arts
Ink - Colorbox Chalk
Candy Bar - Hershey's

Assembly:

1. Cut two 8" x 1" strips of paper. Cut the edges with decorative scissors or a punch. I used the Quickutz 12" Scallop Dies to cut these strips.
2. Wrap strips on outside edges of candy bar, covering label. The scalloped edges shoud be facing outwards.
3. Cut a patterned paper to 4" x 8". Wrap around candy bar so decorative edges of strips show but the brown Hershey's label is covered.
4. Tie a pretty bow on.
5. Add a label or tag with a greeting. Here I cut a scalloped square and then set a smaller square in the center. Then I glued the whole thing to a larger square. I added a snowflake, rhinestone, and greeting.
