SHCG: Love the florals on this, I think it would have been great with some brown & yellowish-orangish paper in back in place of the paisley but like it as is also. Great job.
SHCG: I really, really like your LO and the embellishment on the right of the pic is beautiful. The corrugated circle is a great touch. I do like the paisley paper, but I would rather see a plainer pp in it's place so as not to compete with the embellie. Very nice LO!
SHCG - Amanda, this is absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous photo, papers, harvest-y palette & dimensional floral/leafy excellence. Elegant & lovely pp. The rose color in the papers & embellies is unexpected & pretty - not a color I would've chosen for this harvest-y palette but everything harmonizes perfectly here! Awesome sentiment in your journaling. I think this is already marvelous as is, though I do like Chris' idea of distressing the paper edges & Brenda's idea of adding the year if it's not on the hidden journaling already. Another stunner from the Kitty! :o)
SHCG: I'm here again LOL I think this is so beautiful, esp the bottom right hand with all the flowers and leaves. I do agree with Janet about the color of the sparkly alphas, I think a darker color would make them stand out more. The pic is awesome also :)
SHCG: I love the contrast between the corrugated cardboard and the elegance that the rest of the page conveys. Beautiful photo of your dds with bold colors that I would normally have trouble picking coordinating pps for, but your choices are just lovely. Your title adds just enough sparkle, too. I'd like to see the green mat stick out more from the white, rather than flush with it. I'd also like to see the pps stick out more beyond the circle. I was going to suggest tearing them, too, but I like Chris's distressing suggestion much better. As is, the pps straight edges are just way too clean cut and stark. Finally, I'd add the year in small print written with gold gel pen on the burgundy pp, if you haven't already included it in your journaling. This page is not only lovely and elegant, Amanda, but also has nice dimension.
shcg: the pic is as good as the lo. wonderful, i love the color harmony here. i am sure there is something that could make this better but i am not quite sure what it is. i will keep looking at it to find out what it is, but mostly because i like to look at it!
SHCG: Commented once, but now for the critique.... Ummm, maybe distressing the cs/pp within th LO (not the bg piece) would keep in tune with the cardboard. But seriously, as I said earlier, I think this is just fabulous the way it is!
Wow! That pumpkin looks 3 D!!! Great LO!! Love that cluster on the bottom right!! It flows into that pasiley! Love the paisley too! (always) TFS! Celia
