For this challenge I created a mini album of our first ornaments as a couple in 2006.
1 coffee filter : I used to tie a knot around the pearl beads that are holding mini album together.
2 patterned pieces of paper : I cut in shapes of snowflakes and used thruout the pages including the white backing with words.
3 swatches of fabric : red and white- I cut in thin strips, tied in knots and used thruout the pages. green- cut in thin strip dipped in green glitter and used as scarf for snowman on front cover.
4 metal ornament hangers : shaped and used as arms for my snowman (front) and dancing snowballs (back)
5 inch cd :shiny background on back cover
6 silver disks : painted white and used as snowman/snowballs shapes
7 line ruled index card : on front cover behind title
8 loose rhinestones : I used as eyes for dancing snowballs and buttons for snowman
9 ft minty dental floss : stitching thru the velvet ribbon on back cover
10 strung white pearl beads : holding album together, used as a clasp for my album so i can add or remove pages as i go
11 oz tubes of glitter (4): green- dipped green fabric strip in green glitter for scarf on snowman. silver- I dipped the snowflake shape into silver glitter on front cover
12 inch red velvet ribbon : I flipped over and used as border of paper on back cover.
I will be uploading scans of each page to tell how i used items on those pages.
This was alot of fun, I had great materials to work with!
