My birthday is drawing near as is the new year, and I always take time to reflect on my life decisions, how I've grown and developed. What more do I want to do in my life, and what I can change and do for the better.

This is my submission for the December use your supplies - Metal. I did a lot of inking and distressing and used these metal embellishments i thought they were so cool!

My poem (written by me) reads:
As I take time to reflect
As this year draws to a close
24 years of life
And I still have more places to go

I'm still a work in progress
There's so much more to learn
So many places to see
And so much more I yearn

I know I'll never be perfect
And I'll always make mistakes
I'll travel the roads less traveled
And experience more heart aches

Life is truly what you make it
You just have to take one step at a time
Try to dream big
And remember there's no mountain you can't climb
