Thank you SO much for this! We recently got glasses for my daughter (3 years old) and I had a really hard time with it when we got the news too! In fact, I'm not ashamed to admit it: I cried. (Not in front of her, mind you.) My husband thought I was being silly to worry so much- especially since she was so excited about it- but now I know there's someone who felt just as I did. Thank you again!
Wowzers! Love everything about this. The unusual photo that says it all, the journaling, the title work, and the flowers. You just blew me away! Thank you.
This is a gorgeous LO!!!!! Love how you didn't use a picture showing her face, you conveyed everything with your journaling and the absolutely beautiful picture.
OH I agree this is amazing! Your blending of pp and photo is awesome! Your journaling honest and so filled with a mother's love. TFS!

Oooh, this is amazing! That picture is fantastic. I love how your journaling starts at the top and wraps around to continue your thought. I also really love the honesty and emotion behind your words. Great layout!
A pivotal point in Brenna's life, getting her first pair of glasses.. I wanted to document it for her.. Even though I chose to scrap a photo that doesn't show the final result, (the actual glasses she chose!) I felt that this photo had more mood to it.
