what a great techniques page. love how you used the coffee filter.. I wouldnt have thought to rip it up like that. Love how the ribbon looks as the scalloped borders.
Coffee filter: Ripped into pieces and modpodged onto the CD, then painted red. 2 Patterned papers: Used in opposite quadrants of the page in 4x4 squares and also die-cut for the title. Swatches of fabric: Cut into circles and sewn together with the dental floss, making the little "lollipop" flower. Metal Ornament hangers: twisted up and used to "pop" the silver discs off one another. CD: modpodged, painted red, and polka dotted with copper paint. Silver disks: 4 of the smaller ones are glued together with the wire in between. The larger one is behind another small one with wire in between and the pearls glued on top. Rolodex card: I cut it into a circle to use in the middle of the CD with the journaling. 8 Rhinestones: 7 are around the flower and the last is in the center of the pearl circle on the disc. Dental Floss: used to sew the fabric together White Pearl Beads: used on the small disc under the fabric tubes of glitter: I used glue dots to adhere them as "polka dots" on the background. Velvet Ribbon: I cut some of it into circles and adhered to the background PP. The rest I used the threading water punch on either side, cut it in half, and adhered it to the back of the LO as a border.
