It is amazing how powerful the wind can be and what a destructive power it can become, isn't it? I recently drove through Parkersburg, a small town near here that was nearly decimated by an F5 tornado...not much left standing and the trees that were left were bent , as if still being blown by that mighty wind! Take heart Glenda...if those folks can start over and rebuild, there may be hope for your tree! AWESOME pics!
I think I wrote what I thought of the storm on the layout. I really feel for the people who had the terrible hurricanes and tornados. They call our storms "Zephers" like its something to respect. It can quit doing this anytime. It has been known to blow 80 mph for about 6-8 hours, then peak at 103 MPH. I was watching it hit 50-60 MPH on this one. I really don't want to go outside now. I'm not even going to try to make it pretty. As is!
