I created the photo block and title journal spot using PSE and digital elements. Used a tear/ink action for the bottom edge. Printed it, cut it roughly and scuffed and inked the edge. Then applied it and other embellies to the page.
Even found one of those metal ball chains to thread through the "sample" countertop chips!
The Double wall oven is a laugh in our house. It was one of the main things I wanted when we re-did the kitchen. It was installed in the wall for a few weeks before DH suddenly realized it was 2 ovens! We kid him about that all the time.
Title says:

New floor that doesn't squeak.......................$

Journaling says:
"The kitchen was 35+ years old and falling apart. Getting rid of the waste of space empty soffit at the ceiling was a great idea. We took the room down to the studs. I love the "new" kitchen. The double wall oven comment came up in conversation between Nancy, Kevin & I. After a few weeks a light bulb went off & Kevin realized the double oven was 2 ovens! He'll never live that one down!"
Oops - just realized I did not erase my pencil lines before scanning this. Oh well. Just know that it looks better with them erased! LOL TFL!
