I have a new glitter paint which I used to put the dots around the matt & on the title. I love it it looks like gems when dry.
I have always had trouble using ribbon as a frame as you have to cover the cut corners, so I had the idea to tie a bow at the corners. If anyone would like to scraplift that idea I have some advice. Make the ribbon frame first, then cut the matt & photo to fit the ribbon frame. I had the matt & photo ready then decided to add the ribbon and it is very, very difficult to get the bows in the right place.
The date with pink ribbon attached pulls out to read hidden journalling that reads:

We took Gracie to Phillip Island to stay for a short holiday. When we arrived at the caravan park we went to the beach & made sandcastles. Then at dusk we went to the Penguin Parade & watched all the little penguins waddle home. When I put Gracie to bed that night she said "Thank you, Mummy. That was the best day ever" These photo's were taken at the caravan park playground on "the best day ever".
