Wonderful take on this mini. My mother recently showed me some letters I had written her while I was at boarding school when I was 12. They were fun to read and like you said caused me to reflect on all that God has done in my life through out the years. TFS!
oooh what I wouldn't give. I have one journal that I wrote just a few pages in early in my adult life. I would love to have the MANY MANY pages I wrote prior to that.
what a neat find - I have a few old prayer/journal books that I've written over the years. Always interesting to read through them and see how my life has been changed
Oh, Carolyn - what a treasure! I kept journals back in my teen years too and would love to be able to read through some of them now... Not only an amazing find, but also, as you said, a testimony to the power GOD has been in your life all this time. Excellent take on the challenge - TFS :)
Ok, bear with me while I try to explain why I chose this as my Leftover mini. While cleaning out my storage building yesterday, I came across these notebooks. They are my journals from 25 - 30 years ago. I sat down and read some of my entries from all those years ago and was amazed, amused and saddened by turns at some of things I found so important back then! These journals are "leftover" from a lifetime ago. I am definitely not the same person who wrote about not being able to live without certain people in my life! God has brought me through all of that and more.
