SCRAPTATHLON Challenge #1 - Another Idea

This week, your challenge is to:
Use your HOLIDAY patterned paper for a layout that HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH the HOLIDAY for which it is themed...

Rules:
1. You must use paper from one of the following holidays: New Year's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween, Chanukah or Christmas.

2. You may NOT consider generic red and green paper as Christmas paper... it needs to REALLY be holiday paper - flags, firecrackers, ghosts, menorah, stockings... that kind of thing. -- So, the average voter should be able to ascertain what holiday the paper COULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR, had you, you genius, NOT been so resourceful.

3. Your subject can't be related to the holiday, so, no using ghost paper for your Halloween haunted house layout-- but you could use, say, ghost paper to do a layout about wishing you had a ghost writer for your dissertation (I wish!) or something else not related to the holiday.

4. Your LO must be 8x8" or larger

5. Your LO must contain a minimum of one picture

6. The patterned paper must be at least 4x4" and, the piece you use MUST be identifiable as related to a certain holiday!

Hidden journaling under the clover paper reads, "You and Lucy have such a wonderful friendship! You both are very similar. On this day, you were both working together to fly kites at the park. You are great buddies, but ever since Lucy gave you that special Valentine last year...you talk about her all of the time! Now I see an extra sparkle in your eyes when I take your picture with her! So cute! You are 'lucky' to have such a special friendship!"

***So the scan didn't come out so great (photoshop stitched it together and the colors don't match). But I had such a great time with this challenge! TFL!
