This is really creative. I love the journalling block and the story. My dh knows better than to give me stuff in a store bag, he will get it back to wrap. Don't they enjoy how they receive their gifts, half the joy is wondering what is in such a beautiful parcel. Good thing it was not my raffia, you would still be untangling the mess, I have such a huge hank of it...
You put embellies together in such a harmonious and creative way; this layout looks fantastic and the description is hilarious!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the little owls are adorable!)
My hubby and family think I am crazy the amount of time I spend on wrapping and decorating the house for Christmas. Most of the gifts our family bring for Christmas is in the store bags also-boring. So, I so get it. This LO is another Anderjackie original masterpiece-favs
oh this is both beautiful & funny!!! I love your glimmer mist & that owl.... wow! I love that owl! Actually just spotted another owl! now for the wise@ss... too funny! Men just do not get pretty bows n paper! Of course if you are like me you add embellies to your giftwrapping lol!!!! tfs :D
so beautiful! that little owl caught my eye ---love it!! i also love the pp.s and the different shapes going on, on this l.o - and what gorgeous details!!! of course the flowers are very pretty - but i adore the straw bow !!! and what a funny story as well...i do agree with you about men and wrapping ...lol too funny! :)
What a beautiful Lo and I love the story. I do the same thing here. I loved pretty wrapped gifts with pretty bows. I wrap my gifts and put them under the tree as soon as I finish decorating so to me the gifts are part of my decorations. Everyone is always saying ,"they are pretty but I just don't go to all that trouble" It's not trouble to me.
I too "waste" too much time wrapping but I love beautiful presents. I've never received a gift like yours but Felipe is too young too even notice gifts are wrapped......LOL!!!!!!!!! I love the journaling card and the beautiful page you have done, the papers are gorgeous!!!!
ROFL!!! love to see a family with lots of humour!! Such a beautifulpage too!!! Cute how you added the little 'rafia' bow on the layout too!!...to the favs, your work is always so inspiring!
LMAO OVER HERE!! I ALL MOST SERIOUSLY FELL OFF MY CHAIR WHEN I READ THE JOURNALING! :p !!!! TOO FUNNY! I WAS WONDERING WHAT IN THE HE!! WAS HE HOLDING? LOL!!!..LOVE THE USE OF THE GLIMMER MIST! AND THE STAMPED? IMAGES ARE AWESOME! THIS HAS TO BE A FAVE...!
BUT ALL SILLYNESS ASIDE..I LOVE THIS LO!
I guess it's the scrapper in me, but I have always and forever spent what my family of men consider a ridiculous amount of time and effort wrapping presents. Why, they want to know, when you just tear it off and throw it away? Even my step-daughters, who were raised by their dad before I came into the picture, don't get it. Their gifts are usually delivered in the store bags. This is the gift my son Ben wrapped for me, without the help of his gf, who couldn't come home with him this year! He took my entire wad of raffia and wrapped tape around and around it and the present! There has never been a dull moment with this one! The background pp is CI "Anthology," the circle is the back and front sides of TI Yuletide Eggnog. I don't have the tag for the polka dot pp any more, but believe it is BB.
