OK--this is a bit of a goofy layout, but I had to put it up. Right after my daughter was born, I decided I'd best start scrapping her pictures. So I went and bough a couple of sheets of paper and some stickers and flowers. Then I set to work. MONTHS later, everything was still sitting there. I didn't know how to begin! I'd place things, didn't like it, couldn't make a decision..it was a mess. When we moved, the album and supplies went to the attic in our new place, and I couldn't find them. Fast forward 5-1/2 years later and about a year after discovering scrapbook.com. I was up in the attic yesterday and lo and behold--there was the album with the stuff still inside. So I brought it downstairs and threw this together. I thought it would be fun to see what I could do with the same elements (photo and hospital card), supplies and skills that I had back then but with the layout placing knowledge I have gained since coming here. So no chalk, ink, cutting a title from wordart, no paper distressing...the list goes on. And it still only took 15 minutes to put a layout together. No more layout sitting around for months for me! Yay! Of course, dd was looking over my shoulder and insisting that I use EVERY sticker and button and flower! LOL I love this picture because it's the only one we have with her wearing the sweater my mom knit for her in the 2 weeks she was visiting after Julia was born. :o) TFL!
