This Poem speaks VOLUMES for your LOVE for your Mother Lee...
Extremely heartfelt, and Very Beautiful....You should be commemorated for your Tribute to the first woman a son loves...!
My Mom's birthday is this Friday(the 9th) and I wrote this poem for her. It will be in a 10 X 13 matted frame. The poem reads...
Ruth is our mom, grandma, and friend She Loves us all, On that you can depend With her very existence, we have been blessed To be more like her, should be our quest
You are a gift from God, or so we're told In your loving arms, we will never be cold Your reverence for Christ, is apparent to all There can be no doubt, you answered His call
The flowers, the sunsets, all possess your beauty This was surely believed most by your husband Lee The Love you two had, was something you would share The Adoration held by you both, none could compare
I consider myself to be one of the fortunate few That I was born to a mother, so tried and so true Your beauty surpasses that of roses in a bouquet In closing, I just want to say I Love Y-O-U M-F-K
The M-F-K at the end is something my mom would add to words when she was spelling stuff in the presence of the kids if she didn't want them to be able to know what she was spelling, Just thought it was appropriate to stick that sentence in there. Kind of a family joke for the last 30 years.
