I really need to take another pic on a sunny day! Its prettier in real life. This is my first lo of 2009 and its for the Jan quote challenge. The quote says: "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow for babies grow up much to our sorrow So quiet down cobwebs Dust, go to sleep I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep". When I read the quote I knew the exact pic I had to match it. At first I was going to hide the journaling but then decided against and now I am kinda wishing that I would have. The journaling reads: At 3 months old, you would never fall asleep on your own. Your dad would walk around with you in his arms or I would rock you to sleep. You and I spent so much time in that rocking chair while I fed you, sang to you or put you to sleep. I would sing so many songs to you. Some favorites were "Children go where I send thee" (mostly because it was long) and "you are my sunshine" (which was special to me because my grandma used to sing it to me when I was a child".
