Obama became the *first* black US President. Go Democrats! I was 1 of 3 winner in the Feelin Left Out but Thankful Challenge: http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/1488001/tp/1/. I was 1 of 5 finalists in the December Bling Challenge: http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?fid/18/tid/1491273/pid/9642201/post/9642201/#9642201. I even tied with Zuk to be the top 2. Zuk won though! I was a winner of a $20 Michael’s gift card through a Sweepstakes c/o Creating Keepsakes Magazine. I won a $20 shopping spree c/o Scrapbook.com. I went to the Great American Scrapbook Convention for the *first* time in June. I went to the Scrapbowl for the *first time* in February. I received a *Special Act* Award through my job in September. Christian and I got our *first* pet; a DMH cat. Christian graduated from TLC in June. Christian started Kindergarten in August at TLA; a private school. Christian tried to skate for the *first* time in the Spring time. Christian had a ring worm. Grandma Bubba passed away in March. Christian and I went to A Day Out With Thomas in Baltimore in April. Christian and I went to Universoul Circus in May. This was the *first* year we got season passes to Six Flags in May. Christian and I went to The Washington Auto Show for the *first* time in January. I had a birthday pool party at my Daddy’s house in August; the big 39. Christian took Karate, Soccer and Basketball. Christian went to Florida for the *first* time for Spring Break. He was excited! His daddy rented a red convertible Mustang. This was the *first* year Christian didn’t have a big birthday party. He was away in Florida. Christian was *Optimus Prime* for Halloween.
