I call this Family Treasure because it is of one of my dear granddaughters playing the organ that once belonged to my dad before he passed in 1988. It was given to me and I treasured it, and since then it has been passed on to our children and now resides at my youngest sons home:
Journaling reads: My father was very talented and musical and played most instruments by ear. When he was in high school he was judged the best horn player in the state. This was probably back in 1927. When I was young, I would lie in bed at night, or sit on the top of the stairs and listen to dad play beautiful music on the piano. As he aged, his arthiritis bothered his fingers so he played the organ more. This is one of his organ's that was passed on to me after he passed away in 1988. Here is his great granddaughter, Ashley playing a tune. This organ has resided in two of my daughter's homes and now resides in the home of my youngest son!
