Journalling:
We hiked, crawled and cllimbed our way through this two mile long cave near Hilo. It is part of a 25 mile long lava tube created by an 1881 flow from Mauna Loa. There were huge pieces of volcanic rock all around, roots from the trees above hanging down to the floor of the lava tube, puddles of water, and no natural light to be seen for a whole two miles. Sometimes it could be nerve wracking but a lot of fun. Definitely an adventure.

I used poly filla around the very outside edges and inked them.
