White Cover-Alls are a blank canvas for creating! I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Screens to create a custom cover on a 7.5 x 5.5 White Cover-All. I sprinkled salt on the book and then sprayed the mist to create a frosty effect - a technique I learned from Cheryl McAdam. I used a heat gun to dry the Glimmer Mist between applications of each color of Glimmer Mist – the Cover-All stood up to being misted and heated dry over 10 times in a row!
After Glimmer Misting the cover, inside and out, I added a journal box and sticker letters for the title. Then I used Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist over the entire book to make it “glow”. I added Mica Snow to the chipboard letters and several ribbons to the spine of the book. I strung three metal snowflake charms to fishing line to create “falling snowflakes. I tied these to the ribbons on the spine of the book.
Inside the book I added white pages divided by Zutter 5x7 Acrylic Tab Folders. It snowed for three days the week before Christmas so I wanted to create a section in the book for each day. I used rub-ons and stamps with white Staz-On ink to stamp snowflakes on the 5x7 Acrylic Tab Folders to make them perfectly frosty!
