This is my oldest son, Joshua, at 18 years old. May 2003. The quote and the strip across the photo are from a Quotestacks book and read: " I am so very proud of you in all the things you've said and done. You have always been so special simply because you are my son." The letters for "my son" are rub ons. Then I cut out the backgrounds for them with my stamp punch. I sanded the edges of the photo with my CTMH sanding kit and used the distresser on the edges of the red mat - then inked the mats. The black zig zag border was actually the piece that was leftover from my "Too Little" layout. I just cut a square of the plaid pp from the center of the bg piece, then layered it on top of the black, and then on top of the bg. (I like to conserve paper! LOL!) I put eyelets on the strip across the bottom of the photo and then ran a small jute cord through them. The letters for "joshua" are also rub ons. Thanks so much for looking!!!
