I love that you have a word for it! All of us have it for sure. Alexis always says I have eyes in the back of my head and know what she's thinking before she does! LOL I'm so glad that your daughter was okay! That must've been so scary! We had a similar scare with Brandon. He had an intussuception with the same symptoms and had to have surgery at about 6 mos. old.
My LO for Week #3 of Scraptathalon. The challenge was to do a LO with a made up word for the title.
Journaling Reads: You can call it intuition, pre-cognition, sixth sense, or ESP…..I call it Momdar. It’s that inherent insight that exists between mothers and their children. It’s a mother’s built-in radar. It starts in utero and never quits.
Here is my example……
It was my beautiful baby daughter’s christening day. Family and friends were gathered for the happy event but my smiles were strained and my laughter forced. I knew there was something terribly wrong with my sweet baby girl!
She had been vomiting for a couple of days. The pediatrician said it was just stomach flu and was treating her for nausea. She hadn’t been able to keep down any sustenance for longer than two hours. I was so worried. My Momdar told me this was more than just stomach flu.
The next morning Jessica was admitted to the hospital. After all the diagnostic tests, she was rushed to the University of Florida Medical Center in an ambulance. She underwent surgery for pyloric stenosis, a condition where the muscle at the bottom of the stomach hypertrophies and won’t allow food or water to pass into the small intestine for digestion.
Thank God for Momdar.
I used Prima's Angelique papers, KI lace cardstock, Prima "Say it with Crystals" bling and We R Memory Keepers chipboard letters.
