A page I did for my Mum, to prove it has never gone unnoticed what she does for us all at Christmas.
Here I have used some old MME Papers released for Xmas a couple of years ago.

Journaling reads:
Mum makes the family Christmas the best ever, every year.

Ever since we have been small Mum has worked so hard to see that every member in the family has the best Christmas ever, every year.
Firstly she will bake all our favorites, a Dundee Cake for Dad, Bourbon Biscuit for Moi and Coconut Slices for Joy; of course this is on top of the usual Christmas fare like the Christmas Cake, her delicious Chocolate Cake, Trifle's, Cheese Straws, Sausage Rolls and Mince Pies.
Besides being busy making these tasty goodies, all December she is counting her pennies, and quizzing Joy and I on what we would like for Christmas, when we were smaller our pillow cases would be filled with all kinds of presents from Rupert Annuals, The Jackie or Bedtime Story books. Joy got a Barbie & I Truly Scrumptious, we both received Skippers, with the bendy legs too; I remember we got fabulous Cradles and Prams for our Doll's, oh so many and so beautiful, we had Bicycles, a Scooters, a Peddle Car and Skates, and way back in the recess of my mind I remember a beautiful little wooden school desk with chair. We were lucky weren't we?
Now we are grown Mum is still rallying about doing her special things and as Christmas Day draws close, she and I will venture off out into the City and do our last minutes shop, I love doing this with Mum, we go into the best shops even though we are unlikely to find anything we can afford, we always visit Digby's The Chocolate Shop in the arcade and buy chocolates for The Tree and our Santa's which Mum and Dad have never failed to dress since we were about five.
After shopping we will always go to Jarrold's for a cup of creamy cappuccino and a tea cake laidened with butter, by then night has fallen and all the shops are light up, windows crammed full of that last minute bargain for those errant husbands or partners, which of course I will fall for and buy unnecessarily. Joy will always get that last extra present as Mum and I put our money together and find something sparkly. Mums Christmas never stops there; she is on hand Christmas Eve to help Joy with peeling the vegetables and preparing the turkey for following day.

I know this image isn't straight, I ran it through the scanner twice but no luck. :(

Thanks for stopping by anyway. Sue :>)
