WE GATHERED AS ONE
This is dedicated to the 50 thousand plus brothers and sisters
That gathered on this October day and to the memory of those
that could not be with us.
On a bright sunny day we gathered in Dallas, as one with a purpose, to fight a common foe.
We gathered to show love and support to each other and run or walk.
We gathered to applaud the 2100 women survivors and 11 men survivors of a foe that will someday lose the battle to end our lives prematurely. We walked, we ran, we laughed and we talked, but through it all we prayed.
Each step we took we were one step closer to winning the battle.
The morning we gathered there was a chill in the air but the warmth of our hearts kept us warm. There are no strangers in this war, for we were all in one accord. We have set our sights on the goal to defeat the enemy before the year is out, so that that when we meet again it will be to celebrate the victory that we all seek.
