Such a softly feminine page. Love the way that you echoed the colors of the photo (which is fabulous BTW!) through your selection of papers and embellies.
Beautiful! Love your stitching and coloring...and where did you find that photo corner (upper right corner) and the metal looking thing holding the word photos? I've been trying to find those for awhile now...
This is so very pretty! Love all the special elements. I have my mom's first pearl necklace and photos of her wearing it. I've scrapped it too but now you've inspired me to do something different with it.
WOW!! just LOVE everything about this page!!! such soft pretty colours!! and they work perfectly with your precious photo!!! The inking, the lace, LOVE IT ALL!!...to the favs for sure!!
I love this "tinted"photo... My Aunt Doris had just graduated from Convent School and was wearing her first strand of pearls...those are such "bygone" days.. Based on a Sketch by Shanna Lewter for Creative Scrappers...Thanks for looking :)
The Journaling strips say: One of those Beautifully tinted Photographs from Circa 1945 of my Aunts Doris and Barbara and Uncles Leonard and Roger Both Leonard and Doris (on the left) are gone now... I miss them..
The Bird and Butterfly are both Martha Stewart Stamps that have been watercolored... the Alphas have been tole painted, ink-distressed & sprayed with a matte acrylic sealer The Flowers are handcut from a "retired Basic Grey - Scarlett Letter line" The matting behind photo is from Core'dinations Cardstock / Vintage Flower Power Pack The Flourish behind the bird is a Rub-on by K&Co
