This is a great LO! I really like your distressed edges on the journaling block. I've tried to get that look a ton of times and it never comes out quite right.. well done. Great design!
My son is like that too, we call him Captain Chaos. LOL Boys are so much more rough and tumble than girls are. Hehe I really like the masculine colors here, and you got a bunch of photos on without making it feel crowded!
Had fun doing this layout with all boy colors. This is a page of Easter dinner with focus on Caleb my nephew. He is ALWAYS bumping into things and getting black eyes, so we all refer to him as 100% Boy.
I hand wrote the BOY letters with a zig pen and went over with cinnamon stickles. I cut squares around them and inked them. I hand wrote and cut out the tag with the date. I used my slice for the 100% cut outs. I used texture pearl pp as a background mat and inked the edges to give it a more worn look. I printed the journaling up on cream pp and tore the edges. For something different, I put buttons that were tied with green cross-stitching fibers. I used a metallic silver pen and doodled a border along the brown pp.
