The journaling stages:
Renee Marcotte came over and spent the day with us today. The day wasn’t really hot so I thought that it would be fun to pick blueberries! You two were excited! When we got to Dondarro’s Farm, Renee asked me if their were any wild animals around. I told her that their were only some around at night.
The berries were covered in netting to keep the birds out and you two had a lot of questions about that. You wanted to know if giraffe’s like blue berries and if it kept them out!
You both were so cute to watch. You each had your own basket and for every blueberry that you put in them, you ate about 5. You told Renee to only pick the blue ones but you did try a pink one. It was very bitter so you told her not to pick those. We picked for about 45 minutes and you both had a half a basket full (and plenty in your bellies). I poured mine in each of your baskets to fill them and you both carried them to the veggie stand to pay. I caught you snacking on them on the way out!
