This butterfly rug was made of leftover fleece scraps. Sewing is one of my other passions. The design is original and was made for my granddaughter, Kyla, for Christmas 2007. The picture is all that survives of the rug! She lost it when their apartment was hit by a tornado in the spring of 2008. No one was hurt, and she begs me to make another soon! Now to find enough leftover fleece to stitch another rug!
