From the 20 Pages In A Day Class I taught. I designed this page using a simple technique for scraps that I love.

Most of my scrap stash is made up of strips of paper from 4” wide to 1” wide and all about 12” long. I created a really easy two page layout using strips of paper that can be copied over and over again. Pull out two of each strip of patterned paper. If you have a 4” wide strip cut it down to 2” wide. Starting from the bottom of a piece of 12x12 cardstock lay the strips horizontally, starting with a 1” strip, then a 4” strip, a 1” strip, a2” strip and then a 1.5” strip. A portion of the cardstock base will show up as the last “strip” across the top. Add mats, maybe a few brads along the seams of the papers, and there you have it – easy layout, all from scraps
