The Red Thread
Even in the Old Testament Jesus Christ is the underlying theme of the Bible.
The prophesies of Jesus Christ can be found all throughout the Old Testament.
Jesus Christ is found in every book of the Bible.
It is Christ who holds the Word of God together, similar to a thread woven throughout the scriptures.
It is the blood of Christ which makes the thread red.
The blood of Christ was shed to purge us of sin, and by his blood we are made white as snow.
Source: During fellowship, something that one of the ladies at church shared with me this week.
I think it's poetic, powerful & beautiful in its meaning.
