This is my 'Executive Summary' for my 5th album. It's exactly what an ES should be - a page summarizing an entire project, placed at the beginning of the book/report! I've made a similar page for my other albums. (Not on sb.com because I think they're embarrassing!)

Journaling reads:
"After a four-year hiatus due to the hectic schedule of college, I rediscovered my love for scrapbooking in May 2008. With this rediscovery, I wanted to learn more about scrapbooking to improve my skill.

During June 2008, I gathered all the scrapbook how-to books I could from the library, made copies, and created my own 'Scrapbook Advice' 3-inch notebook filled with examples, technique advice, step-by-step methods, and more. This notebook somewhat helped me, but I saw slow progress.

In August 2008, I discovered a scrapbook website, www.scrapbook.com. After browsing, I decided that it may be helpful, so I signed up for the free membership. And the rest is history! Not only have I made many new friends because of this site, but I feel that my skill has greatly improved. I now know about chalking and paper tearing and chip-board and more - items and techniques that seem so obvious now, but that I never even knew existed before sb.com.

Fortunately, my fifth book is so much more interesting, and showcases much more skill than my first four albums. I look forward to growing more as a scrap artist! For now, I hop you enjoy this album, and I hope that you can also see the progress sin my skill that I just described.

I used 'Yelly' font I downloaded free from dafont.com for my journaling.

I always intend that my books be seen by someone else, so I always write like I'm speaking to some 'viewer,' whoever that may be, in my LOs :-)

Let me add: I HATE my Fiskars circle cutter. I find it terribly difficult to use. I just really had to say that.

The papers are from Hobby Lobby. I doodled on the patterned paper by following the design to make the patterns look more bold.

TFL :-D
