This is my grand nephew climbing. The journaling reads "Nicholas (a/k/a Nick) would have done anything to get upstairs at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house Christmas Eve 2007. He climbed up the stairs many times and everyone kept retrieving him. I am not sure what was so great upstairs. Great Grandpa David put up the gate, but as you can see that really didn't stop him. Great Grandpa David was standing close by so Nick didn't fall. This is one of the greatest memories from Christmas Eve 2007 besides visiting with almost the whole family, that is."
