My favourite photo of 2005

This photo was taken whilst I was on holidays in November. I'd been having lots of trouble with my camera, especially with the macro setting, which was annoying me cause I wanted to get some good flower shots. This flower was in the front garden of our unit and one evening I went out and practiced with the macro ... it worked! But I couldn't get the focus right without the flash, so reluctantly I put the flash on, knowing that flash and macro rarely mix. However, on this occasion they were just the right combination in the predusk light (no, it wasn't dark outside).
