This is wonderful, such a lovely memory. I love that you're scrapping about each of your children's accomplishments. And I'm with you, I think he looks quite handsome! Pretty LO Betty, I especially like how you included the original program in that pocket and made a copy to include in the LO, so clever!
What a great lo you've created for this!!! You sound so very proud !!! I know, I'm a Mom & Gramma too! I have those black musical note buttons & the small musical note pp too!! Great minds shop alike???
How wonderful that you are scrapping your kids' accomplishments!!! They are going to enjoy see your LO's very much in years to come! Love how you included the program (I've saved my kids' programs, too, but have not made LO's yet). Love the colours and details. Yes, he does look so handsome all dressed up ( tell him I said so!!) Really superb layout; LOVE it!!!
My Amanda was first chair Trumpet too! All through 6th - 12th grade! Awesome to see them dressed up and in town parades etc! Love this page, great music paper too.
He looks so sweet and innocent!! LOL!! Love the b/w look...the buttons are perfect for this. I really like how you've made copies of the program and made it part of the layout! Awesome work!
A lovely heritage page, Betty. I can relate to how you feel about Joshua playing trumpet in the band, because my son did too and he still plays in our town's symphony orchestra. Those are great papers and I love the brads. It inspires me to think of doing something on the same theme.
My oldest son, Joshua, getting ready to go play at the annual Honor Band concert. He was in 7th grade and played trumpet (1st chair). At that time, there were three middle schools in town, and only a few kids from each school were chosen for this honor. They spent a couple of Saturdays working with the band director at the high school and then performed this concert. I thought he looked really handsome all dressed up in his cumberbund and bow tie - he says he looked like a dork! LOL! The original program is in the pocket, with a smaller copy on the top of it. The large music notes were buttons. TFL!
