We did a "Twilight" Challenge for the Sweet Pea Scraps Design Team this month, February 2009!

I used a marker to color the brown letters black. The black and white cardstock is from my stash. The red jewels are from the Sweet Pea Scraps April 2008 kit and the red heart pin is from JoAnn Fabrics. FYI - My ipod cover is from Gizmobies.

These books are exactly my brand of heroin, so to speak. I did not want to read them at first. Vampires were not my preferred genre of books and Twilight sat on my shelf for a week or two before I started it. Now I’m addicted. These books make me happy. The characters make me smile and laugh; they are layered and believable and good. Is the love obsessive? Is it healthy? Does it matter? So what if I keep rereading the books; listening to them as audiobooks and to the movie soundtrack and score. If you can listen to a favorite album over and over why can’t you reread and relisten to a favorite book? If I get the laundry done because Twilight in some incarnation is on my ipod that’s healthy right? Walking the dog? Cleaning the house? I’m still completing daily tasks so where’s the harm? Right? I have read and watched Pride and Prejudice in various forms more times than I can count and I’m still normal. I think. And just because I’m just slightly addicted/obsessed with the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon both in print and as audiobooks doesn’t mean I need an intervention, Does it? Adding Twilight to my addictions spreads the love around a little bit. Oh, Harry Potter? We won’t even go there. I mean once is never enough if it’s a book or series you LOVE! It’s my happy place. Some addictions are healthy. Right?
